Overcrowding, unusual food choices, lack of clean habits, and most adult males smoke.
Current thinking is it originated from consuming bats in Wuhan China.

According to the US CDC, "most COVID-19 illness is mild."
”The majority, 80% of people will do well, if they don’t have underlying conditions,” says Dr. Fauci, a Director at the US NIH.
There are many types of Coronavirus. COVID-19 is the name of the specific coronavirus that grabbed the world's attention in February of 2020.
There are no know anti-viral drugs on the market yet for this, but the US EPA has provided a list of cleaners to kill the coronavirus in the air and on non-living surfaces.
The US CDC is tracking cases. As of early March 2020, less than 31 people had been known to have died after being infected by the coronavirus. By the end of March that number grew to over 2,400. By July, the US death toll grew to over 135,000.
Nearly 20,000 to 50,000 Americans die from the flu each 12 months however the flu is usually preceded by flu vaccine.
Coronaviruses are common and exist mostly among animals. This virus spread to humans for the first time in late 2019 and is therefore considered new.
